Ailsa’s travel theme topic, Endearing, of Where’s my Backpack is not the easiest to mix with being regionally aware. Well for me anyway. Port Phillip Bay is a beautiful wild place right next to a big city. The Brown Fur Seals look endearing but do not smell endearing.

These ones are particularly cute. But do they pong! What I find endearing about the region may be stretching the definition in others’ eyes. To be honest, they are fleeting glimpses of beauty I see rarely on my way to work or somewhere else when I just wish I had the camera. I will show everyone these things one day.
