Actually , compared to all the hundreds of young bloggers that all somehow live in 49 countries yet have little or no income,savings or even careers , apparently we haven’t really been anywhere yet

Rob, Diane. Ha long really is worth visiting. If you have a little more money, I would research as to whether there are operators who do not visit the main touristy parts. Getting reliable info on this may be difficult but I think it could be worth it. It is a beautiful place.

Thank for the advice. It does look beautifulnand we would live to visit lots of places in Vietnam. But i have read a lot of artcles anout annoyances for travelers so I’d be reading lots of great posts like yours for advice.
