WPC: Forces of nature

Taken many years ago with a medium format camera, this is my only attempt at lightning photography. My original photograph did have ample foreground in it, only to be not recognized by the scanner. To redress this I will once again go through my basket of negs one day. But it seemed sufficient for today’s challenge. I love the magenta-purple colour of lightning charged skies.
