Here is my first dog, Emmy; known as Emmydog. Our neighbours’ friend, who’s name was Emmy, was horrified when I told her I named my dog after her. I really just liked the name. My Emmy was a beautiful, black and white border collie. She died in 1992 when she was 16. Added for Cee’s B&W challenge animals.

She was so loyal that when she had share me with Jo, she was full of resentment. This did not water down her loyalty to me in any way. You know dogs as pups, adolescents, middle and old age and then they go. I miss all my dogs.
