Gleaming in Thailand
My sister is spot on with her contributions to Ailsa’s weekly travel theme. My sister is there, now, and I am just a tad jealous. I am going to copy her and add some photos from there as well. All photographs taken at or near Chiang Mai.
Cee’s Share Your World – 2015 WEEK #33
What are some words that just make you smile?
Discombobulate. You can’t help but smile at this word
You’re given $500,000 dollars tax free (any currency), what do you spend it on?
I would travel to all the wonderful places that has been shown to me by bloggers, doing my best to avoid the tourist traps (mostly) I would quit my job after that then travel around Australia and New Zealand, all with Jo of course. Surely 500k would do this for me? No?
What subject would you like to study in depth, if given the time to do so?
I am not that good at sticking at things – I move on, not sure why. But I think astronomy.
Would your rather be stuck in a small plane with bad turbulence for 2 hours or be a passenger in a car racing the Daytona 500?
A small plane with the best of anti nausea drugs.
Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
Last week I went to the other side of town to have a look at a teardrop caravan, as we are thinking of buying one. I have a bung knee, so I am looking forward to not having a bung knee. Added for Cee’s Share your world
Mellow in Chiang Mai
I have visited Chiang Mai twice in my relatively minimal travelling experiences. The first time we visited, we spent a day with elephants. Added for Ailsa’s Mellow

Ha Long Bay: Grey
In 2013, we visited Vietnam and part of that extraordinary country is Ha Long Bay. It rained and rained; we encountered some trickery on the boat we were travelling on as well. Despite all this we still managed to see what a beautiful place Ha Long Bay is.
