SHARE YOUR WORLD – 2015 WEEK #37
If you could have three wishes granted for you alone, what would they be?
These are not strictly in the spirit of the question; apologies.
That somehow, the needs for humans to inflict their will on others would stop.
That terminally ill people could have the legal right to euthanasia
That elderly people be treated with respect, regardless of their cantankerousness.
What is the most incredible natural venue that you’ve ever seen in person?
I haven’t travelled much. There are a lot of things I have seen that would compete for this spot. I think the Overland Track in Tasmania is the winner for me
Is your hair short (total neck and ear showing), medium (covering ears and neck), long (below shoulders) or extra long (at least halfway down your back)?
My hair is long; I’m an old hippy. Most disapprove of my choice but tough. No comments on where I no longer have hair.
List some of your favorite blogs.
I have many favourites: These are just a small selection
Of course my sister’s wonderful foodie travel blog Almost Italian
Cee, of course Cee’s Photography . Cee’s endless energy and enthusiasm is an inspiration
Joanne at My Life Lived Full . I like reading Joanne’s stories. She doesn’t post too frequently and that’s good, because I don’t like reading on the screen too much.
Ileana at Ileana Partenie . Ileana shows the beauty of Bucharest so well.
Ruth at RuthsArc . A big change from busy modern London to sleepy Tasmania. She showcases it so well.
Agnes at Agnes’s World in pictures . Agnes does great stuff. She is enthusiastic for new technology.
Markus at Point Blank .Great Black and White

CEE’S BLACK & WHITE PHOTO CHALLENGE: REFLECTIONS AND SHADOWS II
I thought I would sneak these in before the next B&W challenge. This time shadows for Cee’s B&W theme.

CEE’S BLACK & WHITE PHOTO CHALLENGE: REFLECTIONS AND SHADOWS
I was looking through some old photos and came across this one. I don’t know these two anymore. Its a pity because they were a nice couple. I wonder what happened to them? For Cee’s reflections and shadowsI wonder if she’s still got a photo of me and wonders what ever happened to him? I doubt it.
It was memorable few days down in Gippsland, Victoria
Close Ups: Compact Disc
I started with a paper clip on the CDI moved in as close as I could. You can see the blurred edge of the paper clip at the top.
For comparison, here’s a piece of my hair, poorly shot because the depth of field is so limited at this magnification. Also I haven’t mastered the layering function as yet.
Average hair width is ~ 100 µm or 0.1 mm. Those holes on the CD are tiny indeed.
More info from Wikipedia – The pits in a CD are 500 nm wide, between 830 nm and 3,000 nm long and 150 nm deep. 1000 nm = 1 µm
