What I love about Summer, Part 1

Often after hot Summer days, here in Southern Victoria, a cool change comes through in the late afternoon. Today was not a killer Summer day; about 36° here where I live. The change came through with a 10° drop in temperature and light rain. Tonight, this was associated with a heavy blanket of cloud. If it wasn’t still hot, and the grass wasn’t so dry, you could be fooled into believing it was cold August day. Then the Sun dropped below the clouds and it was still raining lightly. Bliss! Sometimes we curse living in the middle of this big windy paddock; but not when this happens.

I took the pic below just before I posted these. A cool breeze is floating in through the fly-wire.out my office windowAnd these little characters are oblivious to it all.oblivious
