Thanks Joanne. The Glasshouse mountains are extinct volcanoes in SE Queensland near the Sunshine Coast. While they are on the tourist trail, Turpins Falls in Central Victoria is certainly not. A large part of Western Victoria is a volcanic plain. The land is mostly flat with rivers having to carve a course through the basalt.
