Water influences me wherever I go. The sea, fountains, mountain streams, clouds. Where would we all be without this wonderful stuff?
Italy was particularly special for water. With a beautiful coastline, wonderful lakes and rivers, and very potable drinking water. Added for word press photo challenge

I agree, Mick. I’ve always lived near water and I can’t imagine not having access to the calming effect of a body of water.

Hi Joanne. Normally I am not always near water, but while we were away it rained a lot here, filling our dam to the brim, and all the earth around us. I think Jo and I will end up closer to the sea before it’s too late.

Isn’t it a good thing to have the dam full before the beginning of the summer?
Although I do understand you’ve had an excessive amount of rain. I’ve seen images of some of the flooding.
Hope it doesn’t get worse.

Oh, I must get that whinge out of my writing! No it’s great that our dam is full. The rainfall has not been bad for us

A little village called Calvene. It’s near Vicenza.

I’ll look that up now.

What a lovely little village. Jo and I went to Bolzano, over the other side of the mountains from there. I imagine Calvene is not quite so German.
