Travel theme: Numbers
Distance dials (is that what they are called?) have always captured my attention. This one is at the Camel’s Hump, near Mt Macedon in Victoria. For Ailsa’s travel theme
This one at Melville Caves, NW of Bendigo, Victoria
One Word Photo Challenge: Scarlet
Referred to as Redback in Australia. Maybe Scarletback would be more appropriate.
Sunday Stills, the next challenge: Fall Foliage
Harietville, Victoria. For Ed’s Fall foliage challenge
Cee’s Odd Ball Challenge 35
This is possibly not odd at all. I’m probably odd for thinking its odd. Cee’s odd ball
Chocolate
The Color Green
Xanthorrhoea Australis (Black Boy) bring green back to the dry Aussie bush. Like eucalypts, they survive bushfires.
A succulent variety, I believe. For Cee’s Green
A visitor this morning
Callistemon and Camellia
Travel theme: Broken
Broken china is used to repair the roof finials at Tomb of Tu Duc in Huế, Vietnam. My Son (pronounced meesun), located 69 km southwest of Danang, Vietnam, has been broken by many invaders on many different occasions. The history of My Son is a worthy read, including its modern history, if you feel inclined. Also very much worth a visit if you are in Hoi An. Added for Ailsa’s travel theme
